$\arg z = \tan^{-1}\!\left(\frac{1}{\sqrt3}\right)=\frac{\pi}{6}$ (I quadrant), $\arg\bar z = -\frac{\pi}{6}$. Sum of absolute values $=\frac{\pi}{6}+\frac{\pi}{6}=\frac{\pi}{3}$.
