Solution

Given,

$p=13,\ q=5,\ e=7$

$n=pq=13\times 5=65$

$\phi(n)=(p-1)(q-1)$

$\phi(n)=12\times 4=48$

Now,

$ed\equiv 1\pmod{\phi(n)}$

$7d\equiv 1\pmod{48}$

$7\times 7=49\equiv 1\pmod{48}$

So,

$d=7$

Cipher value of $6$ is:

$C=6^e\mod n$

$C=6^7\mod 65$

$C=46$

Therefore, $d=7$ and cipher value $=46$
