The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the UGC-NET to determine eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and/or Assistant Professor. What Can You Correct?
- Typically editable: Date of Birth, Category, Parents’ Names, some educational details (exact scope shown on the portal during the window).
- Generally non-editable: Candidate Name, Gender, Photo, Signature, Email, Mobile, Exam City, and permanent/communication address.
Important: The exact list of editable/non-editable fields appears on your correction dashboard once you log in during the window.
How to Edit Your Application
- Visit the official UGC-NET portal and log in with your credentials.
- Open the “Correction” section on your dashboard.
- Modify only the permitted fields carefully and preview all pages.
- If any extra fee is shown by the portal (category change, etc.), pay and confirm.
- Submit the final corrections and download/print the updated confirmation page.
