has released the official notification for Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) online engagement (Schedule-I, January 2026). Applications are invited for GDS posts including Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) and Dak Sevak. Merit list is prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Class 10 (SSE) aggregated to percentage (up to 4 decimals).
How to Apply Online for India Post GDS Recruitment 2026
- Go to the official India Post GDS Online Engagement portal.
- Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) using your mobile number and email ID.
- Login with registration number and password received via SMS/email.
- Fill the online application form and select Division + post preferences.
- Upload recent photograph and signature in required format.
- Pay the application fee (if applicable) and submit the form.
- Take a printout of the final submitted application for reference.
Only one registration is allowed per candidate and duplicate registrations are not permitted.
