CUET PG 2026 will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode across selected cities. Candidates can choose question paper codes as per the programme requirements of the universities where admission is sought.

Note: Compensatory time for PwBD candidates will be 20 minutes per hour as applicable.
Mode of Examination
The examination will be conducted in CBT mode only.
Medium of Question Papers
Question papers will be in English and Hindi (bilingual) for most subjects. Some papers have specific language rules:
- M.Tech / Higher Sciences papers will be in English only.
- Humanities, Sciences, and Common Subjects papers will be bilingual (English and Hindi).
- For non-language papers, the English version will be treated as final in case of any discrepancy.
- Language papers will be in the respective language of the subject (Linguistics in English only).
- Acharya papers will be in Sanskrit, except Hindu Studies (English and Hindi) and some papers may be trilingual (English, Hindi, Sanskrit).
CUET PG 2026 Exam Pattern
The examination structure includes the following:
- Candidates may select up to four question paper codes (as per programme requirements).
- Exam duration: 90 minutes.
- Number of questions: 75 questions in each question paper.
CUET PG 2026 Marking Scheme
- Each question carries 4 marks.
- Correct answer: +4 marks.
- Incorrect answer: -1 mark.
- Unanswered / unattempted / marked for review: 0 marks.
- If multiple options are correct, +4 will be awarded to candidates who marked any correct option.
- If a question is dropped or none option is correct, +4 will be awarded to all candidates who appeared, whether attempted or not.

The syllabus for all question paper codes will be available on the official portal. Candidates should check their selected question paper codes and prepare topic-wise accordingly.
